Server hack on security firm Avast attached malware to popular CCleaner app

If you are a Windows user and have a C-Cleaner application, make sure that you update it properly because recent versions contain some malware. Ironic part? C-Cleaner is owned by the well-known cyber security company Avast.

Better known as "garbage cleaner", C-Cleaner is designed to scrub web cookies and other digital waste.
